The 5-day reminder for a deck rebuild estimate

Day 5 is the second reminder. Assume they are busy. Do not add a discount or a deadline you do not mean.

Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.

What changed since day 2

Nothing in the bid should change in this email. Footings and the ledger are the structure. A resurface over a soft frame is the cheaper bid and the wrong one. Deck bids wait on footing inspections and on a composite color that has to be chosen before the order.

Calendar or scope

The inspector's footing visit sets the frame week. Boards come after that, not before the holes are signed off. Railing style and a spouse's color choice are the usual holdup after the structure is agreed. Do not screw new boards onto joists that are already soft.

If you send it from QuoteLasso

The default schedule is three emails, at 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last one. You can move the dates. Add the estimate by typing it in, forwarding the message, or importing a spreadsheet. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop. QuoteLasso does not send texts. During the 14-day trial, due emails can send on their own. After that, Free is manual. Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month.

Checking in on the deck rebuild estimate

Hi Brian,

Checking in on the deck rebuild estimate for $11,800. I am not changing the number. It still includes new footings, a ledger flashed to the house, and composite boards on the same footprint.

If the holdup is the calendar, tell me which week is real. Are we keeping this footprint, or do you want a stair move priced?

Thanks,
Laura Peck
