What gets sentA short email you write, with the customer’s name, the job, and the amount filled in. It is a follow-up, not a second copy of a proposal file.Housecall Pro’s help center says a Pipeline automation can resend the estimate and move it to the next follow-up status.
TimingDefault emails at 2, 5, and 10 days. You see the dates before you save, and you can change them. You choose how many days an estimate stays in a status before the automation runs. The getting-started article uses 7 days as an example.
How far it goesThree steps by default: first check-in, second reminder, final follow-up. The last email is where you say you’re stopping. A reply or an unsubscribe stops the rest. The help center describes automations from Sent to First Follow-Up, then Second, then Third, and an option to decline the estimate after Third Follow-Up if you turn that on.
Email or textScheduled follow-ups are email. Texts are something you send from your phone. Samples are on the text template page.A Housecall Pro FAQ says the follow-up is email or text, matching how the estimate was originally sent. If both were used, it follows whichever channel was last.

How QuoteLasso helps

  • Add the customer, email, amount, and job. You can type it in, forward the estimate, or import a spreadsheet.
  • The default schedule is 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last email. You see the dates before you save, and you can change them.
  • The first check-in, the second reminder, and the final follow-up each have their own wording. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com.
  • During the 14-day Starter trial, due follow-ups send on their own. Turn that off in Settings and nothing goes out until you press Send.
  • After the trial, the Free plan stays manual. Starter ($79/month) and Pro ($149/month) turn automatic sending back on.
  • When a customer replies, the rest of the follow-ups stop. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.

Questions

Does QuoteLasso replace Housecall Pro?

No. QuoteLasso does not run your leads, schedule, invoices, or payments. It follows up on estimates you add to it.

Can both send a follow-up for the same estimate?

If you turn on follow-ups in both products, the customer can get two messages. Pick one place to send the follow-up, or you’ll be emailing them twice about the same price.

Try the follow-up on its own.

QuoteLasso is the emails after the estimate, not a second CRM. Add a job you’ve already priced and see the schedule before anything sends.
