Estimate follow-up texts you can paste
Short estimate follow-up texts for contractors, with opt-out wording. Paste them into your phone. QuoteLasso’s scheduled follow-ups are email.
Before you send one
- Text people you already gave an estimate to. Don’t use these for a cold list.
- Say your name and your business in the first text. A first name alone is easy to ignore or report as spam.
- Keep the ask to one question. A text is a tap, not a second proposal.
- Leave “Reply STOP to opt out” on the message. If they opt out, stop texting that number.
- A common rule for sales texts is to send them only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the customer’s time zone. Check the rules that apply to your business. This page is not legal advice.
- QuoteLasso’s scheduled follow-ups are email. Paste these into your phone when you want to text as well.
Longer versions, with subject lines, are on the email template page.

Questions about texting a follow-up
Does QuoteLasso send these texts?
No. Scheduled follow-ups in QuoteLasso are email. These are for you to paste into your phone when you already text that customer.
Why does every text say Reply STOP?
So the customer has a clear way to opt out. If they reply STOP, don’t text them again. This page is practical wording, not legal advice.
How long should a follow-up text be?
One or two sentences, plus who you are and the opt-out line. The samples are written to fit in a single text. A long business name can push one into a second message. Don’t delete the opt-out line to save space.
The email version can go out on a schedule.
Add the estimate in QuoteLasso if you want the follow-up email drafted and, on the trial or a paid plan, sent for you.
