Terms of Service

The service

QuoteLasso helps contractors follow up on estimates. You add estimates for your customers, QuoteLasso schedules and drafts follow-up emails, sends them when you press Send or automatically when automatic sending is on, forwards customer replies to you, and stops follow-ups when a customer replies or unsubscribes.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Keep your login details secure. You’re responsible for activity in your account.

Subscriptions and billing

• The Free plan has no charge. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance: Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month, plus any applicable taxes. Prices on our website are current. If we change prices, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to your subscription.
• Starter includes up to 100 open estimates and automatic sending. Pro includes unlimited open estimates, automatic sending, and priority email support. An open estimate is one you haven’t marked won or lost, including drafts. Won, lost, and archived estimates don’t count. Priority email support means a message from a Pro workspace is answered before Starter and Free. There is no phone line and no promised response time.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method each billing period until you cancel.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel.
• If a payment fails, we may pause paid features, such as automatic sending, until it’s resolved.

Free trial and the Free plan

A new account includes a 14-day Starter trial. No payment method is required. During the trial, automatic follow-up sending is turned on unless you switch it off, and you can have up to 100 open estimates.

When the trial ends, if you haven’t subscribed, the workspace moves to the Free plan. We don’t delete your estimates or follow-ups. On Free you can keep up to 100 open estimates and send each follow-up yourself. Automatic sending stops. Follow-ups that were waiting stay in your account and are not sent until you send them, or until you subscribe and automatic sending is on.

Subscribing to Starter or Pro does not start a second free trial. If you subscribe while more than 48 hours remain on the trial you already have, your payment method is charged when that trial ends. Otherwise the paid subscription starts at checkout. We may limit the no-card trial to one per business. Canceling a paid subscription returns you to the Free plan when the period you’ve paid for ends, and your data stays.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Plan and billing in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep paid features until then, and you won’t be charged again.

We don’t give refunds or credits for partial months or unused time, except where required by law.

Acceptable use

QuoteLasso sends email in your name, so how you use it matters. You agree that:

• You will only email your own customers about real estimates you have given them.
• You will not use QuoteLasso to send spam, cold outreach, marketing blasts, or email to purchased, rented, or scraped lists.
• You have the right to contact each person you add, and the information you enter is accurate.
• You are responsible for complying with the CAN-SPAM Act and any other laws that apply to your emails, including accurately identifying your business, using honest subject lines and content, and honoring opt-out requests. QuoteLasso includes an unsubscribe link and stops follow-ups when it’s used, but compliance is your responsibility.
• You won’t send content that is false, misleading, harassing, unlawful, or that infringes anyone’s rights.
• You won’t try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or get unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data.

We may suspend sending or your account if we see abuse, high bounce or spam-complaint rates, or anything that puts our email reputation or other users at risk.

Your data

You own the information you put into QuoteLasso. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for the customer information you enter and for having a relationship with those customers.

Service provided “as is”

We work hard to keep QuoteLasso running and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every email will be delivered, or that follow-ups will win you any jobs. Email delivery depends on third parties, including your customers’ email providers.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, QuoteLasso will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, jobs, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you haven’t paid anything. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You agree to be responsible for, and to cover our costs from, claims brought by third parties (including your customers) arising from the emails you send or your breach of these terms.

Termination

You can stop using QuoteLasso and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, don’t pay, or use the service in a way that could harm others or us. Where reasonable, we’ll give you notice first. If we discontinue the service entirely, we’ll give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid fees for time after the shutdown. After your account ends, we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both you and we agree to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we’ll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using QuoteLasso after changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
