Estimate follow-up emails you can copy
Copy-paste estimate follow-up emails for the same day, 2 days, 5 days, 10 days, and a last note. Written for contractors, with a subject line and body. Names and prices are examples.
Put the job and the amount in the first lines. Ask one question. Sign with your name and your business. Don’t say the price expires unless it actually does.
QuoteLasso’s default schedule is 2, 5, and 10 days. The 10-day email can be your last one. The final templates are that last note, whether you send it on day 10 or later.
For a shorter version to send from your phone, see the text templates.

Your roof estimate from North Side Roofing
Hi Maria, I sent the roof estimate for $12,800 a little earlier today. Wanted to make sure it landed in your inbox. If a line looks off, reply and I’ll walk through it. Thanks, Alex Rivera North Side Roofing
Send this only when you actually sent the estimate today. Skip it if you already handed them a paper copy and talked it through.

Thanks for walking the house with me today
Hi James, Thanks for taking the time this afternoon. The exterior paint estimate is $6,450, for the siding, trim, and the garage door we looked at. Reply if you want a different color plan or if I should leave the garage door off. Thanks, Mike Chen Harbor Painting

Following up on your kitchen estimate
Hi Luis, I wanted to make sure you received the kitchen estimate I sent on Tuesday for $28,400. Do you have any questions I can answer? Thanks, Dana Brooks Oak Remodeling
This matches QuoteLasso’s first check-in: a short note a couple of days after the estimate, asking if they have questions.

One note on the fence estimate
Hi Priya, Checking that the cedar fence estimate for $4,900 came through. The price includes taking out the old fence and hauling it away. If you want to keep the posts and only replace the boards, I can price that separately. Thanks, Sam Ortiz Greenline Landscapes

Checking in on your roof estimate
Hi Maria, I’m checking in to see if you’ve had a chance to look over the roof estimate for $12,800. I’m happy to walk through the scope or adjust anything. Thanks, Alex Rivera North Side Roofing
Same job as the first note. You are not adding a new offer. You are asking if they had time to read it.

Timing for the exterior paint
Hi James, Following up on the exterior paint estimate for $6,450. If you want this done before the weather turns, tell me which week is realistic and I’ll see if I can hold it. If you’re waiting, that’s fine too. Thanks, Mike Chen Harbor Painting

Should I keep your kitchen estimate open?
Hi Luis, It’s been about ten days since I sent the kitchen estimate for $28,400. Should I keep it open, or has the project moved to later in the year? Either answer is useful. I don’t want to keep nudging you if the timing is off. Thanks, Dana Brooks Oak Remodeling

A quick call on the fence estimate?
Hi Priya, I can do a ten-minute call this week if it’s easier than email to go over the cedar fence estimate for $4,900. Reply with a time that works, or tell me you’re all set. Thanks, Sam Ortiz Greenline Landscapes

Closing the file on your roof estimate
Hi Maria, I wanted to follow up one last time on the roof estimate for $12,800. If I don’t hear back, I’ll close it on my end. If you want to pick it up later, reply and I’ll reopen it. Thanks, Alex Rivera North Side Roofing
On QuoteLasso’s default schedule, the third follow-up is the last one, set for 10 days after the estimate. Use a final note like this for that step, or whenever you decide to stop.

Did you go another direction on the paint?
Hi James, I’m guessing the exterior paint project may have gone another direction, and that’s all right. If you did hire someone, I hope it goes smoothly. If the estimate is still in play, reply and I’ll pick it back up. Thanks, Mike Chen Harbor Painting

No rush on the kitchen decision
Hi Luis, You mentioned you wanted to go over the kitchen estimate with your partner. I’ll leave it here so you have it when you talk. I won’t send another follow-up unless you reply. The estimate was $28,400. Thanks, Dana Brooks Oak Remodeling

I’ll hold the fence notes until spring
Hi Priya, If the cedar fence is a spring project, I won’t keep emailing about the $4,900 estimate. Reply when you want to look at dates, and I’ll send a fresh schedule. Thanks, Sam Ortiz Greenline Landscapes
Questions about these emails
Can I paste these into QuoteLasso?
Yes. In the app, each follow-up step has its own subject and body. You can type your own version of these, and insert the customer’s first name, the project, the amount, the date sent, and your business name.
How many emails should I send?
QuoteLasso’s default is three: 2 days, 5 days, and 10 days after the estimate. The same-day note is optional. The final templates are for the last email, whenever you decide to stop.
Should every email offer a discount?
No. These don’t invent a deadline or a lower price. If you change the number, say what changed in the work.
Put the next one on a schedule.
Add an estimate you already sent. QuoteLasso drafts the follow-up and shows you the dates before you save.
