Insulation estimate follow-ups
Twenty examples for a attic insulation, using $3,150 as a made-up price. Ten are the schedule. Ten are for a date, a smaller job, approval, or a later check-back. Insulation bids wait because the house does not look different the next morning, so the job feels easy to postpone.
Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.
Where this bid stalls
Insulation bids wait because the house does not look different the next morning, so the job feels easy to postpone. The person who was in the attic understands the fan-duct issue. The person who only saw the price does not.
What the example price means
Air sealing is the part that changes the house. Blowing cellulose on top of leaks is the cheaper bid. Included: air sealing the attic floor and blown cellulose to the depth we measured. Left out: bathroom fan ducting that currently dumps into the attic. Do not quote depth of insulation and skip the air sealing you walked them through.
When to send them
Attic work is miserable in a heat wave and slow when the roof deck is frosted. Offer a real week. The default schedule is still day 2, day 5, and day 10. Day 10 is the last email. Same-day notes are optional. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop.
