The 5-day reminder for a exterior paint estimate

Day 5 is the second reminder. Assume they are busy. Do not add a discount or a deadline you do not mean.

Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.

What changed since day 2

Nothing in the bid should change in this email. The gap between paint bids is usually hours of prep, not the gallons. Paint estimates stall on color and on whether the prep feels worth it compared with a cheaper spray bid.

Calendar or scope

Exterior paint needs a dry stretch. Name the weeks you can actually start, and do not promise a date in a wet month. Color is often a two-person decision even when one person met you at the house. Do not cut the price by quietly skipping the primer.

If you send it from QuoteLasso

The default schedule is three emails, at 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last one. You can move the dates. Add the estimate by typing it in, forwarding the message, or importing a spreadsheet. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop. QuoteLasso does not send texts. During the 14-day trial, due emails can send on their own. After that, Free is manual. Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month.

Checking in on the exterior paint estimate

Hi James,

Checking in on the exterior paint estimate for $6,450. I am not changing the number. It still includes scrape, prime, and two coats on the siding, trim, and the garage door walked that day.

If the holdup is the calendar, tell me which week is real. Should the garage door stay in the price, or come out?

Thanks,
Mike Chen
