Concrete estimate follow-ups

Twenty examples for a driveway replacement, using $9,800 as a made-up price. Ten are the schedule. Ten are for a date, a smaller job, approval, or a later check-back. Concrete bids stall on the tear-out, because the new slab price looks high until the old one is hauled away.

Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.

Where this bid stalls

Concrete bids stall on the tear-out, because the new slab price looks high until the old one is hauled away. A partner often asks about color or a stamp after seeing a plain broom-finish price.

What the example price means

Haul-away and thickness are the cost. A thinner slab is the cheaper bid and the one that cracks. Included: removal of the old slab, a new driveway at the thickness we specced, and broom finish. Left out: a sealer, and the city approach if the apron is in the right of way. Do not thin the slab to win the follow-up.

When to send them

Pour days need temperature, not just an open calendar. Do not book a finish in a freeze. The default schedule is still day 2, day 5, and day 10. Day 10 is the last email. Same-day notes are optional. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop.

Questions

How many concrete follow-ups should I send?

Can I text a driveway replacement follow-up?
