Texture has to dry before paint. If a painter is already booked, the follow-up should line up with that day. The person paying the painter will ask if the ceiling flash will show. Answer that.

What the price is not

The $1,840 includes hang, tape, and a texture match on the water-stained ceiling and the two patched walls. It does not include paint, which your painter should do after the texture dries. Do not include paint in a drywall price unless you are actually painting it.
