Drywall estimate follow-ups
Twenty examples for a drywall repair, using $1,840 as a made-up price. Ten are the schedule. Ten are for a date, a smaller job, approval, or a later check-back. Drywall bids seem small, so they wait behind larger projects, or behind a debate about whether to skim the whole ceiling.
Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.
Where this bid stalls
Drywall bids seem small, so they wait behind larger projects, or behind a debate about whether to skim the whole ceiling. The person paying the painter will ask if the ceiling flash will show. Answer that.
What the example price means
A spot match is less money and more risk of flash. A full skim costs more and paints cleaner. Included: hang, tape, and a texture match on the water-stained ceiling and the two patched walls. Left out: paint, which your painter should do after the texture dries. Do not include paint in a drywall price unless you are actually painting it.
When to send them
Texture has to dry before paint. If a painter is already booked, the follow-up should line up with that day. The default schedule is still day 2, day 5, and day 10. Day 10 is the last email. Same-day notes are optional. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop.
Questions
How many drywall follow-ups should I send?
