What sets the date

Texture has to dry before paint. If a painter is already booked, the follow-up should line up with that day. The person paying the painter will ask if the ceiling flash will show. Answer that.

Do not skip the wait

Do not include paint in a drywall price unless you are actually painting it. A spot match is less money and more risk of flash. A full skim costs more and paints cleaner.
