What to write the day you send a brick repointing estimate
A same-day note is optional. It is not one of the three scheduled follow-ups. Use it when you are not sure the brick repointing estimate for $8,400 arrived, or when one point from the visit is easy to forget.
Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.
Skip it if you already talked it through
If you handed over the paper and walked the job, another email that night is noise. Masonry bids wait because the work looks optional until water gets in, and a second mason's number is usually coming.
What the recap should say
Name what the price includes: grind and repoint the street face, and replace two spalled bricks. Name what it leaves out: the chimney, and the garden wall, which are different access. Should the chimney be on this bid, or only the street face of the house? Do not smear new mortar over failed joints and call it repointing.
If you send it from QuoteLasso
The default schedule is three emails, at 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last one. You can move the dates. Add the estimate by typing it in, forwarding the message, or importing a spreadsheet. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop. QuoteLasso does not send texts. During the 14-day trial, due emails can send on their own. After that, Free is manual. Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month.

Your brick repointing estimate from Okonkwo Masonry
Hi Dorothy, I sent the brick repointing estimate for $8,400 earlier today. It includes grind and repoint the street face, and replace two spalled bricks. It does not include the chimney, and the garden wall, which are different access. Should the chimney be on this bid, or only the street face of the house? Thanks, Sam Okonkwo Okonkwo Masonry
