Septic estimate follow-ups
Twenty examples for a septic replacement, using $19,500 as a made-up price. Ten are the schedule. Ten are for a date, a smaller job, approval, or a later check-back. Septic bids wait on the county and on a perc result the homeowner is still reading.
Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.
Where this bid stalls
Septic bids wait on the county and on a perc result the homeowner is still reading. A buyer, a lender, or the health department is often the real audience for this price.
What the example price means
The field size comes from the perc and the bedroom count. A smaller price with a smaller field may not get a permit. Included: a new tank and the drain field sized off the perc we did. Left out: a pump if the bedroom count changes, and landscaping repair beyond rough grade. Do not quote a field the county has not accepted.
When to send them
Install waits on the permit. Pumping a failed tank is the part that cannot wait if it is surfacing. The default schedule is still day 2, day 5, and day 10. Day 10 is the last email. Same-day notes are optional. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop.
