The 5-day reminder for a rooftop solar estimate

Day 5 is the second reminder. Assume they are busy. Do not add a discount or a deadline you do not mean.

Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.

What changed since day 2

Nothing in the bid should change in this email. The price is the equipment sized to the bill we looked at. A cheaper system that ignores the usage is a different design. Solar bids sit through utility approval, loan paperwork, and a spouse who has not read the production estimate.

Calendar or scope

The install date follows the utility, not the day they sign. Say that so the follow-up is not a fake start week. Financing versus paying cash is usually decided by someone who was not on the roof. Do not put panels on a roof you already know needs replacement.

If you send it from QuoteLasso

The default schedule is three emails, at 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last one. You can move the dates. Add the estimate by typing it in, forwarding the message, or importing a spreadsheet. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop. QuoteLasso does not send texts. During the 14-day trial, due emails can send on their own. After that, Free is manual. Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month.

Checking in on the rooftop solar estimate

Hi Megan,

Checking in on the rooftop solar estimate for $22,000. I am not changing the number. It still includes the panels and inverters for the usage we reviewed, racked on the south slope.

If the holdup is the calendar, tell me which week is real. Is the roof staying, or do you want a roofer's opinion before the array is designed?

Thanks,
David Cho
