What to write when a rooftop solar price goes quiet
If $22,000 is why they have not replied, change the scope or explain the number. Do not invent a lower price in the follow-up.
Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.
Why the number is the number
The price is the equipment sized to the bill we looked at. A cheaper system that ignores the usage is a different design. The bid includes the panels and inverters for the usage we reviewed, racked on the south slope.
What you can take out
The line you can remove is a roof replacement, if the shingles will not last the life of the array. Do not put panels on a roof you already know needs replacement. Solar bids sit through utility approval, loan paperwork, and a spouse who has not read the production estimate.
If you send it from QuoteLasso
The default schedule is three emails, at 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last one. You can move the dates. Add the estimate by typing it in, forwarding the message, or importing a spreadsheet. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop. QuoteLasso does not send texts. During the 14-day trial, due emails can send on their own. After that, Free is manual. Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month.

What is in the rooftop solar price
Hi Megan, If $22,000 for the rooftop solar looks high, here is what it covers: the panels and inverters for the usage we reviewed, racked on the south slope. I can take out a roof replacement, if the shingles will not last the life of the array and send a revised number. I do not want to cut the work and leave the price looking the same. Thanks, David Cho Cho Solar
Questions
Is this the last solar follow-up?
No. The default schedule is day 2, day 5, and day 10, and day 10 is the last email. This page is the price note for a rooftop solar. Do not put panels on a roof you already know needs replacement.
