Tree service estimate follow-ups
Twenty examples for a tree removal, using $3,400 as a made-up price. Ten are the schedule. Ten are for a date, a smaller job, approval, or a later check-back. Tree bids go quiet because the tree has been there for years, until a storm makes it urgent.
Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.
Where this bid stalls
Tree bids go quiet because the tree has been there for years, until a storm makes it urgent. A neighbor under the canopy, or a city permit on a protected tree, can stop the job.
What the example price means
The price is the climb over the garage and the haul-away. The stump is a grinder, not part of the climb. Included: taking down the maple over the garage, chipping the brush, and hauling the wood. Left out: stump grinding, and any fence panel we have to pull for access. Do not price a stump you cannot reach with the grinder.
When to send them
If it is leaning over a roof, say you can do it before the next wind. If it is a planned removal, it can wait for better access. The default schedule is still day 2, day 5, and day 10. Day 10 is the last email. Same-day notes are optional. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop.
Questions
How many tree service follow-ups should I send?
Three, unless the job needs a different gap. Day 10 is the last one. If it is leaning over a roof, say you can do it before the next wind. If it is a planned removal, it can wait for better access.
Can I text a tree removal follow-up?
Only if you already text that customer. Paste the text sample yourself. QuoteLasso does not send it. Grind the stump?
