Quote follow-up emails you can copy
Copy-ready quote follow-up emails for day 2, day 5, and a last note at day 10, plus price and a second decision-maker. Free to start. Names and prices are examples.
Send the quote, then follow the same gap you would use for an estimate: a check-in at 2 days, a reminder at 5, and a last email at 10. Day 10 is the end of the default schedule. Put the job and the amount in the first lines so they know which quote you mean.
Ask one question. Sign with your name and the business. Don’t say the price expires unless it actually does, and don’t cut the number while leaving the same work in the quote.
QuoteLasso drafts these as email and, on the 14-day trial or a paid plan, can send them when they’re due. The Free plan stays manual: you press Send. QuoteLasso does not send texts. For a shorter note you send from your own phone, see the text templates.

Following up on your furnace quote
Hi Elena, I wanted to make sure the furnace and coil quote for $9,400 came through. It covers the equipment we measured and the standard venting. It does not include a new electrical circuit if the panel needs one. Do you want that circuit priced, or left off? Thanks, Pat Nguyen Nguyen Heating
This is the first email on QuoteLasso’s default schedule. One question. The quote they already have does the rest.

Any questions on the bathroom quote?
Hi Owen, Checking in on the bathroom quote for $14,200. I’m not changing the number. It still includes the tile, the vanity, and the fixture we picked, and it leaves the heated floor out. If you’re comparing it with another bid, tell me which line looks different and I’ll explain that line. Thanks, Robin Hale Hale Baths
Day 5 assumes they are busy. It does not add a discount or a deadline.

Should I keep the driveway quote open?
Hi Andre, Last note on the driveway quote for $7,800. If I don’t hear back, I’ll close it on my end and stop emailing. If you want it kept open, or the work moved to spring, reply and say which. Either answer is enough. Thanks, Luis Ortega Ortega Concrete
Day 10 is the last email on the default schedule. There isn’t a fourth follow-up after this.

What is in the bathroom quote
Hi Owen, If $14,200 for the bathroom looks high, here is what it covers: the tile, the vanity, and the fixture we looked at. The heated floor is not in that number. I can price it without the niche shelf and send a revised quote. I won’t drop the number and leave the same work in. Thanks, Robin Hale Hale Baths
Use this when they went quiet on the price, or they said it was more than they wanted to spend. Take a real line out. Don’t invent a lower price for the same scope.

For when you review the furnace quote
Hi Elena, Leaving the furnace quote here for when you look at it with someone else. $9,400 includes the furnace, the coil, and the standard venting. It does not include a new circuit. I won’t keep emailing while you decide. Reply when you know which way it’s going. Thanks, Pat Nguyen Nguyen Heating
One email the second person can read. Not three more that week.

Closing the file on the panel quote
Hi Helen, I’m guessing the panel quote may have gone another direction, and that’s all right. I’ll close the $3,150 quote on my end. If it’s still in play, reply and I’ll pick it back up. Thanks, Kim Alvarez Alvarez Electric
One polite close. Don’t argue with the other price. This is also the note that gets a call later.
Questions about quote follow-up emails
Can I paste these into QuoteLasso?
Yes. Each follow-up step has its own subject and body. You can start from these and put in the customer’s first name, the project, the amount, the date sent, and your business name.
Should the email say quote or estimate?
Use the word that’s on the price you already sent. If the PDF says quote, the follow-up should say quote. If it says estimate, say estimate. Mixing the two makes them hunt for a file they don’t remember.
How many quote follow-ups should I send?
QuoteLasso’s default is three emails: 2 days, 5 days, and 10 days after the quote. Day 10 is the last one. The price note and the “deciding together” note replace one of those steps when that is the real holdup. They are not extra emails on top of the three.
Does QuoteLasso send a text with these?
No. Scheduled follow-ups are email. If you already text that customer, Text in the app opens your phone’s Messages app with their number and the message filled in. You send it.
