The 5-day reminder for a water damage dry-out estimate

Day 5 is the second reminder. Assume they are busy. Do not add a discount or a deadline you do not mean.

Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.

What changed since day 2

Nothing in the bid should change in this email. This price is the dry-out and the log. It is not a rebuild bid, and it should not be written like one. Water-damage estimates stall on the insurance adjuster, not on whether the room is wet.

Calendar or scope

Drying starts now. Rebuild is a second estimate after the readings say the wall is dry. The adjuster, and whoever files the claim, decides more than the person who met you on site. Do not promise the insurance company will pay a number you have not been approved for.

If you send it from QuoteLasso

The default schedule is three emails, at 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last one. You can move the dates. Add the estimate by typing it in, forwarding the message, or importing a spreadsheet. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop. QuoteLasso does not send texts. During the 14-day trial, due emails can send on their own. After that, Free is manual. Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month.

Checking in on the water damage dry-out estimate

Hi Robert,

Checking in on the water damage dry-out estimate for $5,500. I am not changing the number. It still includes extraction, air movers, and a drying log for the laundry-room leak.

If the holdup is the calendar, tell me which week is real. Do you want the drying started before the adjuster visit, or held until they call?

Thanks,
Amy Chen
