Water damage · Same day
What to write the day you send a water damage dry-out estimate
A same-day note is optional. It is not one of the three scheduled follow-ups. Use it when you are not sure the water damage dry-out estimate for $5,500 arrived, or when one point from the visit is easy to forget.
Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.
Skip it if you already talked it through
If you handed over the paper and walked the job, another email that night is noise. Water-damage estimates stall on the insurance adjuster, not on whether the room is wet.
What the recap should say
Name what the price includes: extraction, air movers, and a drying log for the laundry-room leak. Name what it leaves out: rebuild of the cabinets, which waits until the drying readings are done. Do you want the drying started before the adjuster visit, or held until they call? Do not promise the insurance company will pay a number you have not been approved for.
If you send it from QuoteLasso
The default schedule is three emails, at 2, 5, and 10 days. Day 10 is the last one. You can move the dates. Add the estimate by typing it in, forwarding the message, or importing a spreadsheet. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop. QuoteLasso does not send texts. During the 14-day trial, due emails can send on their own. After that, Free is manual. Starter is $79/month and Pro is $149/month.
