Why it goes quiet
Carpentry estimates wait on paint-grade versus stain-grade, because that choice changes the wood and the price. A second copy of the whole proposal is harder to answer than one question.

Are we staying with paint-grade, or do you want a stain-grade price? The price includes paint-grade built-ins on the wall we measured, installed and ready for your painter. It leaves out stain-grade wood, and the paint itself. Do not start a stain-grade build on a paint-grade deposit.
