What changed since day 2
Nothing in the bid should change in this email. Paint-grade is a smooth box your painter finishes. Stain-grade is the lumber and a finish I do. Carpentry estimates wait on paint-grade versus stain-grade, because that choice changes the wood and the price.
Calendar or scope
Shop time comes before install. Tell them the build week and the install day as two dates. Stain color is a decision for whoever lives with the room, and it has to be made before the wood is ordered. Do not start a stain-grade build on a paint-grade deposit.
