Say you are closing the file

Carpentry estimates wait on paint-grade versus stain-grade, because that choice changes the wood and the price. Tell them a reply reopens it. Then stop.

What not to add

Do not start a stain-grade build on a paint-grade deposit. Paint-grade is a smooth box your painter finishes. Stain-grade is the lumber and a finish I do. Stain color is a decision for whoever lives with the room, and it has to be made before the wood is ordered.

Yes. Day 10 is the last email on the default schedule, and this note is that close. A reply, a phone call, or an unsubscribe stops it sooner. Shop time comes before install. Tell them the build week and the install day as two dates.
