Electrical estimate follow-ups

Twenty examples for a panel upgrade, using $3,900 as a made-up price. Ten are the schedule. Ten are for a date, a smaller job, approval, or a later check-back. Panel bids sit until the utility and the permit line up, or until someone sends a lower bid that skips the permit.

Names, prices, and companies on this page are examples.

Where this bid stalls

Panel bids sit until the utility and the permit line up, or until someone sends a lower bid that skips the permit. A partner adding a shop or a charger is who decides if 200 amps is actually enough.

What the example price means

Permit, utility coordination, and the breaker count are the price. An unpermitted swap is not this bid. Included: a 200-amp panel, the permit, and moving the existing circuits over. Left out: a new range circuit, and any knob-and-tube replacement in the attic. Do not offer to skip the permit so the number matches an unlicensed bid.

When to send them

The utility's disconnect date is the schedule. Your install day follows that, not the other way around. The default schedule is still day 2, day 5, and day 10. Day 10 is the last email. Same-day notes are optional. The customer sees your business name and the address followups@quotelasso.com. A reply comes to your inbox and the remaining follow-ups stop.
